If there is one piece of advice we can give you, it’s dress to impress! Although it may seem obvious to be well dressed for an interview, be sure to pay extra attention to your personal grooming. Taking care in your personal presentation will help you exude more confidence and make it easier for you to perform at your best.
For women, being well dressed means a business suit or pants suit, or a dress and jacket – a skirt or dress too high above the knee is not appropriate for an interview. It is recommended women wear heels, and make sure that their makeup and hair is beautifully done. For men, professional dress means a business suit, dress pants and most importantly a tie, along with tidy and polished dress shoes.
Remember, you have up to one hour to make a first impression, and small details make a huge difference!
